Sossusvlei, home to the huge red sand dunes, is the most popular destination. It is also an excellent base for adventure activities such as ballooning, quad biking and horse riding.

Etosha National Park is another popular destination with good game densities and especially renowned for cheetah. However, Etosha does not have the same prolific quantity of game as the other famous African game parks.

Namibrand, a place of great scenic majesty including the formidable red dunes of the Namib desert, broad valleys of grass and purple granite mountains is a nature paradise. It is exclusive to the handful of lodges that are located here.

The most dramatic and wild adventure would be to the Skeleton Coast North and Damaraland North. These are accessed only by flying in light aircraft. This is probably the greatest wilderness experience on the planet. You are surrounded by desert or mountains with the Milky Way hanging like a canopy over you while you sleep in the night!
