Londolozi: safari chic in the Sabi Sands Private Reserve
Londolozi Camp in the Sabi Sand Reserve, South Africa
Londolozi means "the protector of all living things" in the local language. In its true sense, when the owners converted their property from a hunting reserve to a protected reserve, there was a dramatic change in the concentration of game. It was as if the game sensed this change and instinctively felt they would be protected and moved in to the area in huge numbers. This was especially true for the elusive leopard and the mother leopard who first entered the area changed Londolozi forever.
Londolozi is now world renowned for "the leopards of Londolozi" where you can get one of the best viewing of leopards in the world anytime you go.
It is one of the most luxurious camps in Africa and is owner run. This makes it very personal and yet they ensure that it is very professionally run. The rooms are luxurious with their own private deck and plunge pool. Meals are on open decks or in the boma around a fireplace at night.
Londolozi is located on the Sand river in a most beautiful and secluded setting where the atmosphere is exclusive but personal, with a mixture of understated sophistication and sheer luxury.
The above are only some of the camps where you will live the "ultimate safari experience".
